Bryon Russell Not a Fan of Jordan’s Speech

↵↵Michael jordan’s Hall of Fame speech was called “petty” by one NBA writer, and now one of the targets of Jordan’s speech is standing up against the oddly timed verbal barbs.↵

↵↵⇥“I’ll play his a— right now,” [Utah Jazz wing Bryon] Russell told Yahoo! Sports. “This is a call-out for him to come play me. He can come out here in his private jet and come play. He’s got millions of dollars. He can pay for the jet. He can meet me at the Recreation Center in Calabasas.↵↵↵Russell’s connection to Jordan needs no explanation, but the comments from Jordan are indeed peculiar. Here’s what he had to say this weekend.↵

↵
↵I won’t go so far as to say it’s petty, but it was a little misplaced. Then again, how do you get to be like Jordan when you have any clue what an off-mode is? The guy is on, all the time, always wanting to beat you, whether it’s wildly inappropriate or not.
