And at this point, LT owners should be getting more than a little nervous – the Chargers have been awfully mum about their onetime franchise back, and it’s entirely conceivable that when he does return, he could find himself in a strict timeshare with Sproles if the diminutive Kansas State product continues to excel. Friday Practice a No-Go
With LT likely out, the backfield will consist of Darren Sproles and Michael Bennett. Earlier in the week, Turner said he can’t have Sproles keep taking big hits like he did against Oakland, and wanted Bennett to get some work. Either back could be the fantasy beneficiary of LT’s absence, the problem is choosing the right one.
