Norv Turner made it clear that if players don’t practice during the week he is unlikely to play them. LaDainian Tomlinson didn’t practice all week, including Friday, so most observers believe he will not play this weekend. Friday Practice a No-Go
With LT likely out, the backfield will consist of Darren Sproles and Michael Bennett. Earlier in the week, Turner said he can’t have Sproles keep taking big hits like he did against Oakland, and wanted Bennett to get some work. Either back could be the fantasy beneficiary of LT’s absence, the problem is choosing the right one.
