LT Wearing Boot

After injuring his ankle in Monday’s game against the Raiders, LT is wearing a protective boot on his ankle and is missing practice this week. His official status for this weekend’s game is still up in the air, but a protective boot worn in mid-week is usually a very bad sign for that player’s availability. As a fantasy owner, you must start considering alternatives even though LT says it’s nowhere as bad as his injuries last season.

“I’ve had it before. It’s very common,” Tomlinson said. “So I’m not too concerned with it.”

How much or if he plays on Sunday remains to be seen. If the Chargers don’t want to push it with L.T., they can turn to Darren Sproles and Michael Bennett.

Earlier, Norv Turner mentioned getting Bennett more involved this week instead of letting Sproles take a pounding all game. The San Diego backfield is a tough call for this week.
