Michael Clayton Worth a Pickup?

If Antonio Bryant isn’t able to go for the Bucs this week, former first-rounder Michael Clayton might be a sneaky option. The LSU product burst onto the fantasy scene as a rookie in 2004 with 1193 yards and seven touchdowns, before fading into obscurity due to a series of injuries and just overall poor play.

In last week’s opener against the Cowboys, Clayton and quarterback Byron Leftwich seemed to have a good rapport; the two hooked up for eight passes and 93 yards. With Byrant out of the lineup, Clayton should be the team’s top wideout. Someone is going to get yards in the Bucs offense; Clayton might be the best bet moving forward.
