Bruce Pearl Receives Your Commitment to His Program With Great Enthusiasm

Bruce Pearl can be called many things: excellent coach, body paint enthusiast, profuse sweater and some might even say hilariously and inappropriately handsy during interviews. One thing he’ll never be accused of is a lack of enthusiasm. The guy is always on 11 when you can only hope to be on 10 on your best day.↵↵It is no great surprise that when point guard Trae Golden picked Tennessee over Georgia on Wednesday night, Pearl had a reaction that was probably unlike anything you’d see from Roy Williams or Coach K:↵

↵↵⇥Golden said Pearl’s reaction to his commitment Wednesday was a chest bump.↵⇥↵⇥“He almost knocked me down,” Golden said with a laugh.↵⇥

↵↵↵I fear for his players’ safety should he ever win a national championship. ↵
