Antonio Bryant Questionable for Week 2

Many GM’s won their leagues last year by having an amazing 2nd half of the season from Antonio Bryant, but then he got hurt and the Bucs had a ton of personnel changes that dropped him down the fantasy totem pole. But still, those stats made it hard not to grab him when he fell in your drafts. Now we are feeling the repercussions of that pick!

Bryant’s knee swelled up against the Cowboys in week 1 and he has yet to practice this week. Coach Raheem Morris says:

You want Antonio to play, of course, so it’s obviously a disappointment. We’ve got guys on this team that have got to play, that have got to go in there. Obviously, we want Antonio to play for us, but if he’s not there, the next guy has got to step up.

Be sure to have an alternative ready. Obviously you don’t want to cut bait, but if he continues to get swelling in his surgically repaired knee this could become a tough season for Bryant.
