Texas fans would like to forget, and though you won’t hear Mack Brown or his team talking about it, Longhorns fans would sure like to start the healing this Saturday night in Austin, when the Red Raiders come to visit. The game, originally scheduled for November, was moved up to this week when ESPN made the request to make the game its Saturday night primetime kickoff (8:00 p.m. ET, ABC).

DE Brandon Sharpe Latest Red Raider Nixed for Saturday

The news on its own might not be crushing, but Sharpe makes the third Red Raider defensive end to be nixed for Saturday’s contest. This on a team that entered 2009 to replace two of the keys to last year’s victory over the Longhorns in Lubbock, defensive ends McKinner Dixon and Brandon Williams.
