Up until the midpoint of the second quarter, it was all Broncos, 24-3. Then Fresno State’s Ryan Mathews stomped 69 yards down the field. And then, less than three minutes later, Mathews ran down the field again for a 60-yard score. Fresno’s Ryan Colburn was intercepted on the next possession, taking away some of the momentum, but the Bulldogs made an impressive defensive stand near the end of the half.
