Flop Early, Flop Often

Weather took mercy on one of the two most disappointing teams in action early today. Clemson and Boston College are postponed due to lightning, which is an act of meteorological mercy for the Eagles. BC has 1 first down, two yards of offense, and zero points in the third quarter, and have been as putrescent on offense as a football team can possibly be. Jeff Jagodzinski is available for phone interviews whenever you are, BC administrators.

The other disappointment: Purdue, down 28-21 to the Northern Illinois Huskies of the MAC with time bleeding down in the fourth. Purdue has been outgained by 120 yards on offense, lost two turnovers, and looks to be the Big Ten team keeping the MAC’s two game win streak alive against the Big Ten.
