Texas Receives Second Half Kick, Marches to TD

Now that’s more like it: 11 plays, 66 yards and a touchdown for Texas to start the second half and open up a 14-3 lead on the Red Raiders. The Longhorns finally got the running game going, with redshirt freshman Tre’ Newton cutting back on the counter for a 19-yard score. The Red Raiders have returned the ensuing kickoff to the 40 yard line, so maybe the fireworks are finally beginning.
