Horns Hold On, Defeat Tech 34-24

Finally, it ends, and this time it was Texas on top, their 34-24 victory serving as sweet revenge for last year’s heartbreak in Lubbock and — more importantly — keeping Texas alive in the national title race on a day in which Top 10 teams were tested. The Longhorns didn’t look good for four quarters on either side of the ball, but they made enough plays to win it. This year, that’s all that matters: survive and advance.
