Marshall, Broncos Both Better Off Together

Sporting News’ Albert Breer has plenty of reasons why a trade to the Jets won’t happen -- Rex Ryan insists he’s pleased with this WRs, Marshall can still help Denver win games, NFL trades are impossible to make happen, etc. -- but this is the most interesting of them: Josh McDaniels ain’t no punk. Or at least, he doesn’t want to appear to be one:

On the Broncos side, it’s hard to see Josh McDaniels allowing yet another player to bitch his way out of town -- particularly considering the potential fallout with anyone else who’s unhappy in the locker room.Of course, Marshall staying in Denver is still dependent on the receiver deciding that he’s going to catch footballs in practice rather than swat and punt them around the field.
