Though the likelihood of Brandon Marshall being traded this season is slim, as fantasy GMs we need to be prepared. Marshall with the Jets would automatically become the #1 receiver while Jerricho Cotchery would move down to #2. Mark Sanchez has shown poise this preseason, but is still green, literally and figuratively. If this trade were to happen don’t look for a huge fall off in numbers, but also don’t look for an uptick. The benefit would be that Marshall would be “happy” and out of Denver. Of course the fantasy implications beyond Marshall would expand exponentially, but we’ll keep our speculation in check for now!
