This picture should be enough to explain why Julio Jones is a. not of this earth and b. essential to Alabama’s chances against Virgina Tech. He’s really, really good. So is Mark Ingram. But alas, the NCAA paints its pictures with broad, lazy strokes of ignorance.
Julio Is Not Human, NCAA Is Inhumane
↵During the offseason, Jones and Ingram accompanied a man with “a long list of physical ailments” on a fishing trip that the man paid for, and on which the players literally carried the man. He was not an Alabama booster, and had no idea who the players were. Naturally, investigation ensued.
↵Now, as the investigation lingers, there’s a legitimate concern that the players will miss Alabama’s opener against #7 Virginia Tech. Which is really a perfect reminder on the eve of college football season: integrity comes first for the NCAA.
