Dan Uggla and Hanley Ramirez exchanged heated words in the clubhouse on Wednesday afternoon and the clubhouse had to be closed, but the Marlins still managed to pull out a victory against the Braves.
Despite Conflict Marlins Walk-Off Against Braves
After two straight losses to the Braves and the Uggla-Ramirez drama, the Marlins were able to rebound Wednesday night with an 8-7 victory.
The Marlins had a 7-3 lead after the 6th, helped along by a two-run home run by Uggla who batted third for the injured (not according to Uggla) Ramirez. The Braves got three in the 7th and tied the game in the 9th on a Yunel Escobar home run. Wes Helms saved the day though with a one out walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th.
