49ers Coach Mike Singletary Comments on Situation

From CBS Sportsline, here’s the thrilling response Singletary gave when asked about the accusations today:

Coach Mike Singletary all but acknowledged the 49ers have filed tampering charges against the New York Jets regarding top San Francisco draft pick Michael Crabtree.

When asked Monday if the teams had filed charges, Singletary said it’s a situation “the league is going to handle internally.” He didn’t elaborate or provide any details on the matter.

So, yeah, I guess if he says the league is handling it, then something was submitted to them by the 49ers to handle.
