NCAA Names Jim Isch Interim President

From SportsBusiness Daily:

Jim Isch, the NCAA’s chief financial officer, will be the interim president of the NCAA until Myles Brand’s successor is selected. The decision was made by the NCAA’s executive committee, made up of university presidents, chancellors and athletic directors.

The committee will also determine the process for choosing the NCAA’s next president, although no timetable has been set. Isch is an NCAA veteran, having joined college sport’s governing body in 1998 and most recently serving as CFO and SVP/administration. He previously worked as a high-ranking administrator and financial chief at Arkansas , Montana State and Kansas State, his alma mater.
