While often giving off the impression that he dwells in madness, Chad “Estaban” Ochocinco is a man who insists on zany feats, but also learning from them. For example, in September 2007 the receiver vowed to take a leap into Cleveland’s infamous Dawg Pound after a touchdown. He followed through with the score and the leap, which was for the most part successful, but also got him showered in beer and various concessions by Browns fans for his effort. It wasn’t long after that Chad said he regretted that particular celebration.↵

↵↵When Ocho chimed up last week saying that he would make a Lambeau Leap if he scored against the Packers, it seemed like he was setting himself up for another beer dousing. Oh, but we underestimated the scheming prowess of Ocho. This time, when he scored on the road, it looked as though he just happened upon a passel of Bengals sitting in the front row. Quite the stroke of luck, right? No. Ocho makes his own luck.↵
↵↵That might be a little extreme, but he at least arranged for those Bengals fans to be there. Using Twitter (which Chad typically reserves for challenging Shawne Merriman to boxing matches) the receiver got in touch with three Bengals fans who said they’d like to give him a welcome reception in the end zone. Ocho sent them front row seats via certified mail and there they were in their orange wigs and striped jerseys at Lambeau on Sunday.↵
↵↵There was an element of risk, however. Chad had only arranged for the fans to have seats in one of the end zones, so he would have had to score in the first or third quarters, lest he run into a hostile reception during his leap. So, a combination of planning and luck made for a memorable scene.↵
