This was undoubtedly written and posted on StubHub before the season — or certainly before the Nats reached the threshold of 100 losses. But reading it now, as they’re poised to become the fifth team to suffer back-to-back 100-loss seasons, is really depressing:

↵↵There are actually eight teams in the N.L. that haven’t kept up with the Nats run production this season. Unfortunately, there are zero teams that have allowed the opposition to produce more runs than the Nats have. It’s hard to play October baseball when you allow almost 200 more runs than you score.
