Giants New No. 1 Team in RCS Power Ranking Averages

In the latest NFL Power Ranking Averages over at RealClearSports (determined by averaging together the rankings from eight other sites), the New York Giants are the new No. 1 team, taking the top spot from the Patriots, who fell to No. 9. As you might expect, there was a lot of shake-up in the young, two-week season: the Saints climbed nine spots, and the Jets moved all the way up from No. 14 to No. 4. Somewhat surprisingly, the Lions are not the worst team in the league. That dubious honor belongs to the Rams.
