Injury-plagued Bucs RB Cadillac Williams sat out practice on Thursday with an undisclosed knee ailment. For a player coming back from two patella tendon surgeries over the last few years, this was potentially devastating news. But Caddy was back on the practice field on Friday and looks good to go for this weekend’s game against the Giants. So why did Williams sit out on Thursday? Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports:
Exhale, Cadillac Owners
↵↵Bucs resting Cadillac Williams with knee soreness after first turf game. No structural problems
↵↵Not exactly reassuring for the long-term, but no reason to panic just yet. Still, if you can sell high after a few more decent performances, that might be your best bet.
