One hole after moving into a tie for the lead, Stewart Cink hit driver off the 10th tee way left and out of bounds. He then hit a provisional off the tee for what was his third shot. He went with the driver. And he hit it even further left, and once again out of bounds.
Round 2: Cink Totally Implodes on the Par 4 10th, Shoots an 8
He then took another provisional off the tee. He hit driver for a third time. This one went left also … but remained in play, landing in the rough, near the edge of a fairway bunker. From there, he actually played the hole decently, and ended with a quadruple-bogey-8.
And just like that, he goes from tied for first to tied for 8th at 1-under.
