Teams Look To Stop Brady With The Blitz
An interesting article from the Boston Herald talks about how opposing teams have discovered that the way to beat the New England offensive juggernaut is to blitz Tom Brady and blitz him a lot.
Fantasy owners have already seen the impact of this on the Patriots’ running game as the team ranks 26th in the NFL with a measly 78 rushing yards per game. While New England has survived with just their incredible passing game before, so far this season the passing game hasn’t been much better for Tom Brady owners. Leaving out the last two drives of the Buffalo game -- where the Bills went to a soft prevent-style defense -- Tom Brady only has 241 passing yards a game this year. That won’t get it done for a 1st or 2nd-round fantasy pick.
