Coye Francies Shares Eric Mangini’s Passion For Justice In Liquid-Related Incidents

It is now to the point that I’m actually sympathizing with Browns fans. They’re 0-2 and it’s not a pretty, moral victory-filled 0-2 either. They’ve had that ridiculous story about a $1,701 fine for taking a $3 bottle of water during a preseason hotel trip floating around.↵↵And now they’ve even got some good old fashioned in-house fighting going on, during the open media session in the locker room on Friday no less. Your Cleveland Brown gone wild: rookie cornerback Coye Francies (pictured).↵
↵↵⇥Francies burst into the locker dripping wet and carrying a Gatorade bucket full of ice and water. Apparently, his teammates had dumped a bucket on him and he was looking for revenge. ↵⇥↵⇥The incident happened during the media’s open locker room period. Francies threw half the bucket toward cornerback Brandon McDonald, some at safety Mike Adams and then headed toward [safety Abe] Elam. When he got to Elam, he threw a punch, but Elam grabbed his arm. Before it got out of hand, Shaun Rogers, Eric Barton and D’Qwell Jackson led him outside to settle him down.↵⇥
↵↵↵Everyone seemed to smooth things out after the fact, according to reports, but I don’t imagine that does much for Cleveland fans who have to go through another headline like this. Hey, cheer up! Sam Bradford will look excellent in brown and orange.↵
