This is worth reiterating: when South Florida upset #18 Florida State Saturday afternoon, they were led behind center by a backup freshman quarterback. B.J. Daniels stepped in for the injured Matt Grothe. His passing stat line, while admittedly not spectacular, was solid: 8 completions in 21 attempts for 215 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions. It was clearly enough to get the job done.

↵Oh, and also? He took the ball himself and ran 23 times for 126 yards (that crunches out to 5.5 yards per carry).
