Week 3 Injury Report

Cleveland @ Baltimore

(CLE) Jamal Lewis is doubtful which gives Jerome Harrison and James Davis, who is probable with a shoulder injury, the opportunity, but the Ravens run D is too tough.

(BAL) Ed Reed is questionable, but should go. Justin Bannan, Jared Gaither, and Fabian Washington are all probable.

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati

(PIT) Troy Polamalu is out which should help Carson Palmer. Tyrone Carter, James Harrison, Limas Sweed, and Lawrence Timmons are all probable and expected to play.

(CIN) David Jones and Andre Smith are out. Cedric Benson and Chris Henry are probable, but should be ok to go, but the Steelers D will be tough on them.

Washington @ Detroit

(WAS) Clinton Portis is questionable with bone spurs in his ankles. A lot depends on how he feels after warmups. If he goes you have to start him, but if he doesn’t, Ladell Betts is a sneaky play.

(DET) Cliff Avril, Eric King, Ernie Sims are doubtful for the Lions defense. They need all the bodies they can get.

Jacksonville @ Houston

(JAC) Adam Seward and Brian Witherspoon are out. Maurice Jones-Drew is probable, but should be a full go against a bad Houston defense.

(HOU) Antwaun Molden is out. Andre Davis is doubtful, but Kevin Walter was upgraded to questionable. If he goes he is a good play against a bad Jacksonville pass defense.

San Francisco @ Minnesota

(SF) Frank Gore is probable, but should be ready to go.

(MIN) Percy Harvin has missed the last two practices with an undisclosed illness. He should go, but he could be a little worse for wear. E.J. Henderson is questionable and if he’s out it could help Frank Gore’s chances. Adrian Peterson is also probable, but fully expected to go.

Atlanta @ New England

(ATL) Jerious Norwood is questionable and probably won’t play, but otherwise Atlanta is healthy.

(NE) Jerod Mayo is out. Julian Edelman, Randy Moss and Wes Welker are all questionable. That is almost all of their wide receivers! We’ll have to pay close attention to the news Sunday morning and so will you!

Kansas City @ Philadelphia

(KAN) Dwayne Bowe is questionable. He participated in practice Friday, but had his hamstring wrapped. Derrick Johnson is also questionable which is good for the Eagles RB’s. Matt Cassel is probable and is go.

(PHI) Quentin Demps and Donovan McNabb are both doubtful. DeSean Jackson and Brian Westbrook are both questionable. I have heard Westbrook is a go and also no-go so we’ve got to wait on this one. Lesean McCoy is a good start if Westbrook is out. DeSean Jackson has a good chance to play, but nothing is for sure.

Green Bay @ St. Louis

(GB) Atari Bigby and Brandon Jackson are out. B. J. Raji is questionable and Nick Collins and Aaron Kampman are probable.

(STL) Tackle Jason Smith is out.

New York (N) @ Tampa Bay

(NYG) Chris Canty, Adam Koets, Aaron Ross, Hakeem Nicks, Clint Sintim, and Danny Ware are all out. Kevin Dockery, Domenick Hixon and Justin Tuck are questionable. The Giants D is banged up, but they still keep producing.

(TAM) Antonio Bryant is questionable and I’d be surprised to see him play. Earnest Graham and Caddilac Williams are also questionable which gives Derrick Ward a good opportunity to start against his old team. Feel good about starting him.

New Orleans @ Buffalo

(NO) Mike Bell is out. Lance Moore is out. Pierre Thomas is probable, but they will still be careful with him. Reggie Bush is amazingly the healthiest RB they have!

(BUF) Terrence McGee is questionable. You want your cornerbacks to be at full capacity against Brees!

Chicago @ Seattle

(CHI) Pisa Tinoisamoa is out. Alex Brown is questionable, but should go.

(SEA) Matt Hasselbeck is doubtful and will not play. He will be replaced by Seneca Wallace, which will hurt the other offensive players. Lofa Tatupa, Leroy Hill and Brandon Mebane are hurting which should help Matt Forte.

Tennessee @ New York (A)

(TEN) Rob Bironas and Bo Scaife are questionable. He’s a kicker, but they still score points for your team!

(NYJ) Lito Shephard and Donald Strickland are out. Kris Jenkins and Mark Sanchez are probable. The Belichick tree digs it’s roots in deeper.

Denver @ Oakland

(DEN) Knowshon Moreno was a late addition to the report with a groin injury. He is questionable and groin injuries are not fast healers. Brandon Stokley is also questionable and if he doesn’t go McDaniels will have to get Marshall and Royal in there more, but the Raiders pass defense is stout. Jabar Gafney is probable along with Kyle Orton. They’ll both play.

(OAK) Robert Gallery is out which hurts McFadden. Chaz Schillens is still out. Johnnie Lee Higgins, Richard Seymour, and Nnamdi Asomugha are all probable.

Miami @ San Diego

(MIA) Joey Porter and Justin Smiley are questionable.

(SD) Nick Hardwick and Travis Johnson and LaDainian Tomlinson are out. Darren Sproles will once again step in for LT with Michael Bennett getting some work.

Indianapolis @ Arizona

(IND) Anthony Gonzalez and Bob Sanders are out. Dwight Freeney is questionable. Look for the Cardinals to have running lanes.

(ARZ) Steve Breaston is questionable. Sit him against the best pass D in the NFL. Anquan Boldin is probable and should be fine; he had 8 receptions last week. Kurt Warner is also probable and is old.
