Phil Mickelson is tearing it up on the green, with eight straight one-putts on his way to a two-shot lead over Kenny Perry. Tiger Woods is still without a birdie after nine holes and while he’s holding par at 5-under, he’s yet to been able to hit that signature Tiger shot that propels him into a string of under-par holes.

Even more concerning is that Tiger is now in a three-way tie for third. If that holds and Perry is able to somehow get his game together and pull out a win, Tiger’s FedEx Cup hopes will be distinguished.
