The Steelers allowed Cincinnati to hang around for the entire game, and at the very end, the Bengals and quarterback Carson Palmer finally made them pay. Palmer just led a stirring late-game drive that included two 4th-down conversions, and was capped with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell with just 18 seconds remaining. And with that, the Bengals move to 2-1 (and really should be 3-0, if not for that fluky play versus the Broncos), and the Steelers fall to 1-2.
Bengals Score Late, Knock Off Steelers: Cin 23, Pit 20
For the second straight week, the Steelers have outplayed their opponents, only to watch them come from behind a steal a victory late in the game. And while we’re several steps away from panic, you’d certainly think Steelers fans are concerned in the wake of this divisional loss. And for the first time in a while, this win gives another AFC North franchise’s fans a reason to cheer.
WHO DEY?!
Bengals fans, of course. And Hard Knocks curse be damned: we just might be looking at one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this year.
