From SBN’s Peninsula is Mightier, via the Miami Herald, comes Michael Beasley’s apology to the fans, players, and coaches of the Miami Heat:
Beasley’s Apology to the Miami Fans
“First, I’d like to start off saying we all know my situation, we all know what happened,‘’ Beasley said in his first comments since he returned Sunday from an NBA-mandated rehabilitation program in Houston. "I’d like to start by apologizing to the fans, the team and to the organization, and also thanking everyone for their support and for backing me up during my lowest hour."
“With any more violations comes suspensions,‘’ said Beasley, who will continue to be screened under the league’s more strict guidelines. "But I really don’t know, don’t want to find out and don’t plan to find out.’’
And Dwyane Wade, Miami’s superstar and a staunch Beasley defender throughout this process, chimed in with support:
“He has my trust,‘’ said Wade, who last season questioned Beasley’s antics and maturity at times. “Just because he made this mistake doesn’t mean I don’t trust him. He’s got a lot of things coming at him. But we have to monitor him and make sure he’s not going through this by himself. We don’t hold any grudges about what happened.’’
