Sam Bradford practice with the Sooners on Monday, throwing the ball well and setting up a possible return for the Heisman winner against Miami this coming week. His return will be a matter of Bradford showing progress during the week as he attempts to return to form after suffering a shoulder injury against BYU almost four weeks ago.
Bradford Throws In Monday’s Practice, May Return for Miami
Per Bob Stoops, via the Norman Transcript:
“It’ll be determined as we go through the week,” Stoops said. “It’ll depend how he performs and how he feels. We have to make sure he can make all the throws that we need … Until we go through practices, I don’t know.”
Monday was a step, but the rest of the week will determine how fast he returns. Linemen said they were happy “just to hear his voice,” and small children sang songs of joy on the sideline as he threw. He’s popular, just so you know.
