With the news that starter Chad Pennington is likely out for the year, it was only a matter of time until Miami brought on another QB with NFL starting experience. They got it today by adding Tyler Thigpen from the Chiefs for an undisclosed draft pick. SB Nation’s The Phinsider sees it this way:

↵↵While we shouldn’t read too much into this seeing as how we all knew the Dolphins would be bringing in some quarterback with starting experience to compliment [Chad] Henne and [Pat] White, it’s worth noting that Thigpen is only 25 years old and has far more starting experience than both of Miami’s two quarterbacks combined. Even still, I suspect Thigpen will be nothing more than the #3 quarterback on gameday for the foreseeable future.
↵↵You got one jumbled mess at QB in Miami. As a fantasy player, stay away until somebody grabs the job and creates true fantasy value, if that even happens this year.
