MRI Reveals that Felix Jones Has Sprained PCL, May Miss Several Weeks

This just in from the Dallas Morning News:

Felix Jones sprained the posterior cruciate ligament Monday but the Cowboys aren’t sure how much time he will miss.

“It could get well quickly,” coach Wade Phillips said.

Typically PCL injuries take two weeks to get better which would keep Jones out through the bye week.

He does not need surgery, just rest and rehab.

This is obviously bad news for the Cowboys back field, which was without Marion Barber in Week 3 and now will likely be sans Felix Jones for a tough Week 4 match-up at Denver. Consolation prize: Tashard Choice has talents consistent with that of a mad-child, so they do have that going for them.
