Chad Ochocinco Killing His Twitter Account?

↵
↵I unfollowed OGOChoCinco quite a while ago. The tweeting was too frequent and foolish for my taste, and enough other people follow him that if he ever said anything meaningful, I knew it’d get retweeted. Maybe I saw my last OGOchoCinco retweet today, as he’s posted that he’s killing his account.
↵
↵I’ll believe it when I see the page is dead, sort of like killing the zombie in a summer horror flick. These things never really die. If you’ve been watching Hard Knocks, you know Chad loves the attention. He was actually holding a MacBook Pro, uStreaming on his way into one of the team’s preseason games. He was twitpicing Andre Smith’s arrival with the team. I don’t see a guy so starved for attention giving up the narcissist’s best friend. Until he hits delete on this thing, count me as skeptical.
↵
↵If he does delete his account, it’ll be a shame, but not because his words are the ones I’m worried about losing. The NFL just handed down its social media policy and now we’re all wondering what’s coming with the NBA. The NBA tweets are more prolific than any other sport, and I’d be saddened to see some of those guys silenced the way Ochocinco has been.
↵
↵If he does follow through: R.I.P. @OGOchoCinco. May 16, 2009-Sept. 4, 2009. 148,539 followers.↵
