Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio says that Shawne Merriman intends to claim that he was attempting to prevent an intoxicated Tila “Tequila” Nguyen from driving. This, he’s expected to contend, was the reason he restrained Nguyen and prevented her from leaving his home.
