In anticipation of Thursday night’s Titans-Steelers NFL season opener, much (some?) has been made of Tennessee players stomping on the Steelers’ signature Terrible Towel during last year’s meeting, a 34-14 Tennessee win. The biggest offender was LenDale White and not only does he not regret it, but White says he’d do it again.
LenDale White Still Does Not Care For Your Laundry
↵“If it happens to be there, I’m going to stomp all over that [pause], man,” the running back told reporters after practice Sunday. “If there’s a towel in the stands, I will stomp on it. I don’t care who gets mad. … If they throw a towel at me, I’m going to kick it and stomp all over it. If they don’t want their towel stomped on, keep it out my face.”↵Strong words from someone threatening to stomp on a towel.
