Cincy QB Tony Pike is showing off his poise and accuracy, going 9-for-11 for 110 yards in the first quarter. The Bearcats marched down the field on their opening drive, showing off a hurry-up offense that had the Rutgers defense back on their heels and scored in just over a minute.

Rutgers answered with a long scoring drive of their own, albeit in a much more methodical manner. Converting two fourth and ones the Scarlet Knights used a 20-play, 10-minute drive to tie the game with a balanced attack between run and pass.
