Jim Haslett Named Redskins Defensive Coordinator

Redskins fans around the nation might have more to celebrate during the offseason than they have in the past year. Eight days after the firing of Jim Zorn, the Skins are bringing a new Jim to town.

The Washington Post reports:

Jim Haslett and the Redskins struck a deal Tuesday night that makes Haslett the team’s new defensive coordinator and means the Redskins will have a markedly different defensive philosophy going forward.

The two sides struck a deal Tuesday night.
