Stephanie Kuzydym spent her childhood around racket clubs in Indiana. Her first high school drug test came the day this profile picture appeared in the local paper. She learned her scoot-away backhand from watching too much Andy Roddick. She never mastered the art of a tweener because her mother said that would be the end of her “tennis career with a bill footed by her parents.” The closest she’s ever gotten is dribbling the ball between her legs before her “Hercules” serve.
