Sean Sherk Vs. Clay Guida Scratched From UFC On Versus
A previously rumored lightweight showdown between former 155 pound champion Sean Sherk and Clay Guida has recently been abandoned.
FiveOuncesofPain.com was recently made aware of the scrapping of the match-up through sources close to the situation.
The pair had previously been expected to slug it out during UFC on Versus, which is expected to take place from Broomfield, Colorado on March 21.
Either the UFC realized that they might have been giving away a little too much for free, or one of these gentlemen had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. This is not Sherk’s only recently canceled bout as he was one of the many victims of the UFC 108 “injury curse.”
