Since Vikings-Chargers is in the books, here’s an update to my post earlier today.
I Will Shut Up About This When I Get To Watch A Good Football Game
↵In the seven completed playoff games so far this year, the average margin of victory is about 19 points. And if you remove the fantastically crazy Cardinals-Packers game last week, the winner scores an average of about 32 points, while the loser scores an average of 10 points. That’s more than three touchdowns, folks.
↵To bounce things back to acceptable levels, I’m hoping that the Jets-Chargers game is decided by a margin of .001 points. As everyone knows, a touchdown is actually worth 6.0003 points due to negligible market fluctuations, so this could happen.
