Invictus Gets Blind-Sided At Golden Globes

It wasn’t a great year for sports movies. It wasn’t even a year for net tonnage of sport movies. Of the few that did stand out, only two were up for awards at Sunday night’s Golden Globes. Invictus was the more nominated (Director, Actor - Drama, Supp. Actor - Drama) but The Blind Side was the only winner. Sandra Bullock took home the Best Actress - Drama award for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Touhy, who took then-homeless football player Michael Oher and helped him, I guess. I don’t know, I didn’t see it.

↵That’s about as sports-related a Golden Globes post I could come up with. Now you know.
