Australian Open Ballboy Makes A Splash In First Round

Forget all the near misses in the early rounds -- this is why every minute of the Australian Open should be televised, somewhere, no matter what, and not just because we’re coming into the worst dead period of the year in sports: A ballboy in the Donald Young-Christophe Rochus match urinated on the court today, causing a 30-minute holdup in play.

↵↵“I looked back and it was dripping on the court,” Young said. “He ran off. And when he ran off ...”

↵It left a trail on the court.

↵“They came out with the blower,” Young said, “and it wasn’t working, so ...”

↵↵Hey, if Serena’s gonna behave herself, we’ll need to take our entertainment where we can find it. (Young won the match in four sets, by the way.)
