When you’re a normal NBA star, it’s never a good idea to criticize the officials. Unless there is video evidence to corroborate your claims of injustice AND you’ve done decades’ worth of work in the local community, you’re going to get fined about 10K. That’s just how it works.

↵When you are Rasheed Wallace, the eternal fly in the ointment to the NBA’s Big Brother… Well, what happens to children that don’t play by the rules? According to Adrian Wojnarowski, you get fined a cool $35,000 for quotes like this:

Criticism worth $35,000? Maybe not, but again, it’s ’Sheed, the man who once described the NBA like so:

↵↵Wait, what’s that? Sources say David Stern just fined Wallace another 50 grand for “looking at him the wrong way.” That sounds about right.
