Cole Miller v. Andre Winner Targeted For UFC Fight Night 21

A lightweight bout between two “The Ultimate Fighter” veterans is in the works for UFC Fight Night 21 scheduled for March 31st from a TBD host city in North Carolina. MMA Junkie has the report:

A lightweight matchup between “The Ultimate Fighter 5” veteran Cole Miller (16-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and “The Ultimate Fighter 9” finalist Andre Winner (10-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is expected for UFC Fight Night 21 on March 31.

Sources close to the event indicated to MMAjunkie.com that at least one fighter has formally agreed to the bout, though bout agreements have yet to be signed.

UFC Fight Night 21, which serves as a lead-in for the debut of “The Ultimate Fighter 11” on Spike TV, takes place in North Carolina, though UFC officials said as of Monday a host city and venue have not yet been determined.

Miller has won three of his last four fights and is coming off a victory over Dan Lauzon at UFC 108 where he walked away with “Submission of the Night” honors. Winner defeated Roli Delgado at UFC 105 in his only fight since dropping “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 9 Finale contest to Ross Pearson.

Here is what the rumored card for UFC Fight Night 21 looks like so far:

-Stefan Struve vs. Roy Nelson

-Yushin Okami vs. Lucio Linhares

-Nate Quarry vs. Jorge Rivera

-Cole Miller vs. Andre Winner
