Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Jake Shields is set to join Chuck Liddell’s coaching staff for The Ultimate Fighter 11, set to debut March 31.
Jake Shields And Rob McCullough To Serve As Assistant Coaches On TUF 11
↵↵Shields announced the news on his official website, JakeShields.com. He will serve as a wrestling and jiu-jitsu coach for Liddell for the next six to seven weeks.
↵↵Joining Shields on the show, though coaching against him along with Tito Ortiz, is former WEC Lightweight Champion “Razor” Rob McCullough.
↵McCullough broke the news the old-fashioned way, using his Twitter account:
↵↵“So I am one of the assistant coaches for this seasons Ultimate Fighter show. I will be helping coach Tito Ortiz versus Chuck Liddell’s team. So now you peeps gotta tune in!!!!! Spike TV”
↵↵So along with legends and sworn enemies Chuck Liddell and Tito Oritz, TUF 11 appears to have added some more firepower to the show. Still no word on any guest appearances set to be made by Mrs. Ortiz.
