No. 13 Purdue Takes Care Of Michigan, 69-59
West Lafayette, IN (Sports Network) - JaJuan Johnson posted 21 points and seven rebounds as 13th-ranked Purdue subdued Michigan, 69-59, at Mackey Arena.
E'Twaun Moore had 19 points and six assists for the Boilermakers (16-3, 4-3 Big Ten), who have won two in a row after losing three straight. Robbie Hummel finished with 13 and seven boards.
DeShawn Sims scored 21 points for the Wolverines (10-9, 3-4), losers of two straight games and three of five. Zack Novak contributed 16 points for Michigan, which was never able to fully recover from Purdue's early second- half surge.
