It’s the best of the best. Basically, the highest honor in the NFL (aside from the MVP and other meaningful awards). It’s the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl! And in a bid to make the league’s all-star festivities more relevant, Roger Goodell has moved this year’s game up to the week before the Super Bowl. Which is a great idea -- until something like this happens.
David Garrard...In The Pro Bowl?
↵That’s right, Jaguars quarterback David Garrard will be representing the AFC. In the Pro Bowl. He of 15 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions. For some context, Garrard was the 19th-rated passer in the NFL, according to Football Outsiders. And yes, he was the seventh choice for the spot, thanks for asking.
↵Although I’m rooting for Garrard to back out just to see who the league would pick next. Kyle Orton? Chad Henne? Or this guy? Is it an all-star game if there are no stars?
