Clay Guida v. Shannon Gugerty Stuck On Undercard of UFC on Versus
Mania with the news:
Just weeks after winning “Fight of the Year” at the 2009 World MMA Awards, Clay Guida (25-11) has been relegated to the preliminary card in his next fight against Shannon Gugerty (12-4) at the upcoming UFC on Versus 1 event from the Odeum Colorado in Broomfield on March 21.
The UFC isn’t messing around with the UFC on Versus card. It’s got some really great fights and is solid enough that fan favorite Clay Guida can’t even break the main card.
Hopefully Versus and DirecTV can figure things out so that there isn’t a large segment of fans who are left unable to watch the promotion’s first show on the network.
