Following the announcement that Andre Dawson was voted into the Hall Of Fame earlier this month, there has been some debate about which hat he’ll wear: Expos or Cubs. Now we know the answer:
Andre Dawson Entering Hall Of Fame As Expo; Score One For High Fashion

From the Chicago Tribune:
After attending the annual B.A.T. banquet in New York Tuesday night, Dawson sent the following text to The Tribune:
“Hall will issue a press release (Wednesday) announcing that I will go in as an Expo.”
There are two explanations for why Dawson would go in as an Expo. One could be that he spent his first 11 seasons there (vs. six in Chicago), and it’s where he solidified himself as a perennial all-star/gold glover/MVP candidate. The other reason could be LOOK AT THAT DAMN UNIFORM. There has never been a more awesome baseball color scheme and logo than the 70s/80s Montreal Expos. The Hall Of Fame currently only has one man — Gary Carter — carrying on the legacy of hardball’s highest fashion statement. It needs Dawson as an Expo. And Tim Raines wouldn’t hurt too.
